Spring Blues and Shoes

By Inafarawaytree @EmilyJ_S

Excuse the dull background in pictures so far, I've only really had chance to take them after work in the evening so far, and by then it's too dark to take them outside anywhere, so end's up being a flash against the wall jobby. But it's Kingsley who takes them, and will be Kingsley who takes them when they get a little more inventive and pretty, so he's great!
I got some new shoes ready for Spring (which still hasn't arrived, in fact it's snowing again!) in the hope of being able to wear them without tights and with a dress, however with England being England I had to wear a thick denim dress and tights.
My dress is fromTopshopages ago, it's really thick and really warm, so too hot for the ''warmer'' months and looks best with the sleeves turned up. There are a couple of similar oneshere.
My plaited belt is from a charity shop, but again they do similar oneshereandhere. I had a necklace on (which I took off as didn't fit right around the collar) which was also from a charity shop and looked a bit likethis.
Tights are just Sainsbury's cheap ones and my shoes, were about £13 fromthisseller onEbay. I don't think they are selling any similar item's, it was just a chance find, but I adoreeetheseRupert Sanderson ones andtheseCalvin Klein ones, although they don't look the same, they are still beautiful!     And the final picture, was straight after the photographs were taken when I decided to cut a fringe into my hair for a change. I tried to make it a messyish one so that I can brush it to the side or into a center parting when I get bored with it. I might like it once it loses it's 'just-cut' look, because at the moment I look like my younger school-girl self who's just had a haircut.
My week usually consists of spending Monday-Friday planning what we are going to do at the weekend and subsequently daydreaming about it, then the weekend consists of trying to make those two little day's last longer, whilst cursing that we are back to work on Monday. Therefore the reality is that the week is the most enjoyable time as there is no negative anticipation.. only hoping for the weekend! So this weekend, with a little help from the British enemy, 'weather' we hope to spend a lovely day out with the sunshine, picnic anybody?! And then hopefully get some pictures that are more aesthetically pleasing!
