Did anyone else see WhoWhatWear's article, Fashion Girl Instagrams? SO. FUNNY. And so totally accurate. It's always amusing to me the degree to which there is a "way" to act when you're a fashion blogger. Staged shots of you working at your desk or in a coffee shop, gold and white accents, fresh flowers, shoe instagrams (so guilty). There's a certain look, a certain way of conducting one's online life that is totally unique to the #fblogger.
But, after flipping through blog after blog of the same sort of things, it makes me wonder - why are we all so similar? There's so much we can do with fashion and beauty, so why does this even exist? Where's the uniqueness? The originality? Can someone please do something with their hair besides wear it in long, loose curls?? It makes you question your place in the blogosphere! It's such an interesting phenomenon.
#EndRant. On to happier things. Like the weekend! And polka dots. Lurve polka dots!
