Sponsorship for Growth

By Balancingonhoney @balancinghoney

I did not win a ticket to Bloggy Conference 2013, but I am still determined to get there! We learned so much in the Twitter chat about finding sponsorships, and that is my next plan of action. One, I need a media kit, and two how about some sponsorships. These goals are good incentive anyways to gain new skills and become a better blogger. After the Twitter chat I tweeted:

…and I meant it.

All the things I have yet to learn about blogging and social media kind of makes me reach for my brown paper bag… It might have something to do with all the other things going on in my life like grad school, volunteer work, family, friends, and pressing on to my full potential, but those excuses seem a bit lame to me. Plenty of busy, working moms run very successful blogs, and I am not comparing their success to mine, I promise, they actually push me to get better and give me hope!

That is why it is so important to me to attend conferences like Bloggy Conference 2013…

Conferences promote growth. In order to grow you need to surround yourself with people who are farther ahead of the game than you are. Bring a pen take notes and cram every little tidbit of information into your head!

So, if you are a brand looking for sponsorship opportunities, I would LOVE to have you sponsor me to Bloggy Conference 2013! The conference will be at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio September 13 – 15, 2013 and I am looking for brands to represent! If interested, I would be happy to send a copy of my current media kit.

Now, I am determined to network and grow my community through my blog because I want to add value to my readers lives. I am not the most talented public speaker, in fact I am quit shy, but I have a deep rooted ambition to be a women of influence, and I feel like my blog has been an outlet for that. Blogging has been hard work… Nobody said it would be easy, fortunately though, I have a great God on my team!
