We’ve been looking at lots of LEGO builds recently, but here’s an amazing project from some Minecraft fans. If you’re a fan of Japanese anime cartoons then it may look look familiar. It’s the whole village from Spirited Away.
Alan Becker and his friends have been building the world for a very long time, and are aiming to include every place seen in the film, and make it as accurate as possible, down to the very last plant pot. Already included is everything from the bath house to the pig farm, and it’s only 80% finished.
Alan has been using hundreds of screenshots from the film to use as guides to help him make the Minecraft build as accurate as possible. And when he’s finished, he’ll use the world as the stage for his own Minecraft version of Spirited Away, acting out and filming the most memorable scenes.
To keep watching Alan’s progress, keep an eye on his website and Imgur site.
