With an incredible blend of guitar tones and melodies, “Under the Night Sky” from Spirit Plate offers a sound that’s both classic and psychedelic, channeling a nostalgia that visits the East, South and West simultaneously. Taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut, Spirit Plate is the brainchild of Brooklyn’s Brian Russ, who originally dreamt up the project in 2013 after a long night of drinking and watching a Graceland documentary in New Orleans.
