Spinach pakora is a common snack in India too . This tea timetreat is everyone's favorite in our family. This pakora was different from the indian version as it uses less flour. Some add grated potato the below recipe too.
¼ cup Besan flour / chickpea flour
¼ tsp baking powder ( optional )
In a bowl , add the besan flour , rice four , cumin powder , salt and baking powder , mix together.
To the flour mixture , add the chopped spinach , onion , green chilli and grated carrot, mix well.
Heat oilin a pan , when the oil is hot , reduce the flame to medium.
Take off and place the pakoras in the kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
Serve along with mint yogurt raita.
