Spike Guys Choice Awards

  • Jennifer Anniston kicked off the show looking very bronzed, shiny, beautiful and used the word Motherf*cker 4 times when presenting the Funniest MF Award to Jimmy Kimmel. It just doesn't sound right coming out of her Rachel Green's mouth,  and I love that word.
  • Jeff Ross is SO gross
  • Jimmy Kimmel didn't look like he thought the roast jokes were funny at all.
  • Don't you think that the giant antler trophy they award everyone is a dangerous item to have in the house?
  • There was a REAL GIRAFFE named Stanley on stage most of the night. I think he was a gay giraffe (not that there's anything wrong with that)  since he kept licking the guys and staying away from the girls.
  • Cameo appearance by Octomom
  • It looked like Dwight Howard could swallow Kevin Hart whole
  • I had to ask my son who Quenton Jackson was...boxer
  • Snoop Dog/Lion had everyone up on their feet which was a major deal since most men won't dance unless forced
  • Bradley Cooper looked like he had just rolled out of bed and took his presentation of the Guys Choice "Guycon" award to Vince Vaughn VERY seriously and Vince Vaughn accepted the award not so seriously.
  • Questlove is GIGANTIC which I don't think I ever realized before since he's always behind a drum kit. Maybe that's why he is so GIGANTIC
  • Jamie Foxx received The Virtuoso Award...he is talented but for some reason, he bugs the S out of me.
  • Snoop Dog/Lion apparently got everyone high backstage
  • Buzz Aldrin revealed that TANG SUCKS before presenting Felix Baumgarten with The Mankind Award for the space jump.
  • Jake Gyllenhall came out as "The Dude" from The Big Lebowski...a movie I have never seen
  • Pretty sure Jeff Bridges was hanging out with Snoop Dog/Lion backstage
  • Didn't Jason Sudekis and Bradley Cooper both sleep with Jennifer Anniston?
  • I had no idea that Andy Samberg  was in a grandpa rap group called the The Lonely Island. They performed "Diaper Money," a pretty obnoxious rap tune that did absolutely nothing for me. It was no "D*ck in a Box" of "Mother Lover" I can tell you that.
  • Ted won the Guys Movie of the Year Award. Seth McFarlane and Mark Wahlberg serenaded us with the thunder song from the movie.  Now that one...I did see.
  • Joseph Gordon Levitt was wearing a very bright orange pin on his lapel...no idea what it was or what it was for. It didn't match and  it was extremely distracting
  • More distracting than JGL's pin,  were the scantilly clad girls siting on logs above the giant Godzilla at various times during the show.
  • Bait and switch...75 years of Superman were promised and only Man of Steel, the Manticipated Movie of the Year,  was shown. Did they forget the other 74 years backstage with Snoop Dog/Lion?
  • Russell Crow's such a doosh, can't stand him
  • Henry Cavill, the new Superman is REALLY hot AND he's British...added bonus
  • Amy Adams didn't get her hair done for the big night
  •  Kaley Cuoco (Who also didn't get her hair done for the night) got the Hot & Funny Award for The Big Bang Theory.  Another fun fact...I've never seen the show.
  • Best quote of the night "Who's Bart Reynolds?" Dylan Carruba.
  • Mark Wahlberg presented Burt with the Alpha Male Award. Name the movie they were in together for 5 extra points...lets see who reads EVERY word.
  • Everyone in the audience had a Burtstache on.
  • BURT LOOKED FREAKKKKY but then I Googled him...he's 77 years old!
  • Andrew Luck won the Rookie of the Year Award.
  • Dooshb*g of the Year Award was given out to a bunch of folks including Congress, Justin Bieber and Kanye West by Triumph the Insult Dog who was ultra offensive but hilarious
  • Poor little white pooch with different costumes on as Triumph's sidekick made me sad
  • Troops Choice for Entertainer of the Year went to: Vin Diesel for Fast and Furious 6
  • Clint Eastwood presented BEN AFFLECK with the 2013 Guy of the Year award.
  • Runner Runner looks AMAZING! Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake...9/27  Show over
NEWS & INFORMATION
-Check out those Pretty Little Liars Trendrr numbers! Those are record breaking numbers...1,797,606 mentions is the highest social numbers for a season premiere of any kind! PLL is a social media phenomenon. Which brings me back to my obsession of the correlation and value of a socially successful program vs a top rated NSI program.  What do you guys think is more valuable? There is no correct answer, I'm  just curious.

-I'm not a game console type gamer...I get obsessed with different apps and stuff, right now it's Candy Crush Saga (stuck on level 65), but for those of you who are into games, I would be remiss and lose points with my FBFF/FTSH if I didn't alert you all that next week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is the 4th annual video game week.  Games featured (and ones I will NEVER play): Knack (PS4), Forza Motorsport 5 (Xbox One), Watch Dogs, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Game & Wario & Super Mario 3D World (Wii). While it doesn't excite me AT ALL...I'm sure it excites some of you.

-IFC renewed Portlandia for 2 more seasons.  2 more seasons that I won't get it, but 2 more seasons nonetheless.
-Friends is heading over to TV Land. starting on Wednesday night 6/19. To celebrate and prepare for its arrival, there will be marathons from 7pm to 6am beginning this Friday 6/14 through Tuesday 6/18.  Whenever I'm channel surfing and Friends is on, I usually stop and watch.  I personally can never get enough, so the more Friends the better. I don't NEED it, but it's good to know it's there if I do.

-Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right? So I guess Twitter should be feeling really good right now even though technically they didn't "invent" the hashtag.  Pretty soon, Facebook users will be able to organize conversations and topics using the #hashtag as well.  Remember when Facebook was just Facebook and MTV just played videos? Sometimes I yearn for those simpler days don't you?  I get why Facebook's doing it...money!
-If you are one of those people that remember when MTV and VH1 were all about the music, you're in luck...sort of. If you're actually home, doing nothing but watching TV on Independence Day aka July 4th, MTV, VH1 and CMT are all focusing on the music. Bringing back new, up & coming bands and musicians for us all to discover. Great idea right? That's what the channels were originally built on!!!! Now it's a special day of programming and it's a day hardly ANYONE is inside watching TV to discover the music. Whatever.  Maybe I'll TiVO it.  Right idea, wrong day in my opinion.

-I haven't published the most visited websites it a while, mainly because they rarely ever change. If you care here's May's numbers:
  • Google.com: 171.5 million unique visitors (-0.22%)
  • Yahoo.com: 164.3 million19%)
  • Facebook.com: 163.3 million (-0.49%)
  • YouTube.com: 162.3 million (-0.32%)
  • Bing.com: 158.1 million (-0.02%)
