Spellbound #2.5

By Shivam Ralli @shivamralli167
Dear Ananya,You don’t need to know my name. That’s why I didn’t write it on the envelope. Ananya, today is 14th of Feb. That’s Valentine’s Day. I am sure you might have heard of it.
Ananya, I still remember the day I first met you. It was in 5th Grade. It was then I fell in love with you. I remember our first day vividly. You were sitting on the first bench. I went and sat behind you. I was lost in you. I was lost in the curve of your mouth, in your laugh and most of all your caring nature. You took me into your care with such kindness that I was moved to my core.
Over the past few days, I have been thinking about what I want to do with my life. I want to share my life with you Ananya. I have maintained my crush with you for 4 years. I want to spend every single moment with you Ananya.
Ananya, you are like the northern lights to me. You are special and are difficult to reach, but once I get hold of you, I am never going to leave you. You are the rock of my life. You are my anchor. You are the one who takes away my breath every time I see you. So today, I am going to write down all my feelings here.
‘Girl, you are the sole of my life. You are the one who completes me. We all come like imperfect human beings like Earth and we are deemed to find the person who fits in the gaps which will make both of us whole. You are the one, Ananya. You are the person who completes me. Every day your smile lights up my day and I want to see it every single day.
I will be the reason to make you cry, but I will make you laugh more Ananya. Our bond was made in heaven and it can never be denied.
I have always been denied from any kind of love. It was the feeling which I received from you on the first day, when you lovingly and kindly introduced me to the whole school and acted as my partner the whole time. Even these days I feel that you are protecting me somehow- though nowadays I can never ever let you go from my grasp.
Our bond was made in heaven and I can never deny it. Neither can you. We, after all, were meant to be together.
Over the years, we both have come closer and closer towards each other and now literally know more about each other than we know about ourselves.  Alas, it’s no point in hiding my name right now, because, I think you already have guessed it.
Yes, today I, Ravi, am proposing to you, Ananya, and get down on my knees and ask, “Will you be my girl-friend Ananya?”
Your lover, friend, partner and companion.
Ravi.
