Speed Date: Fifty Shames of Earl Gray by Fanny Merkin

The Deal: Anna Steal didn't want to cover for her hung-over roommate Kathleen and go out to interview young tycoon Earl Gray for Boardroom Hotties magazine, but off she went anyway because it still beat hanging around watching her roommate puke. Meeting Earl Gray - CEO of the Earl Gray Corporation - was a strange experience, as the man is intriguing and intense, almost too intense. And soon, Anna Steal finds herself being swept off her feet by the handsome billionaire, even as she learns some of the most secret aspects of his personality. 
My Thoughts: Fifty Shames of Earl Gray is a parody and it kicks off in great style. I was laughing pretty early on and sometimes the giggles just bursted out. 
That being said, after a while I started to get tired of the narration of just how over the top everything was. Parodies are supposed to be about exaggeration but good parodies don't deviate into the grotesque and this one sometimes does. There are parts that are so over the top that they stop being fun.
I received this for review as an Audiobook and on that aspect I liked the voice and style of the narrator, so on that regard it was good. 
Otherwise it was a good effort but if it had been toned down a little it would have been a lot more enjoyable.
