Soya poha porridge powder recipe has soya and poha as the main ingredients. Poha is an energy rich food, which is high in carbohydrates, iron and B Vitamins. This combo is extremely good for baby’s bowel health, heart health, bone health and also helps in increasing the immunity.  It’s a wholesome and filling meal for the baby. Soya poha powder is a best handy travel food, as it can be made just by adding piping hot water. You can avoid the sugar and preservative filled commercial instant mixes and opt for this easy homemade instant mix recipe. This recipe is suitable for babies above 6 months. A teaspoon of ghee can be added in the instant porridge to increase the energy content.

Soya Poha Porridge Powder

Ingredients:

  • Soya – 2 tbsp
  • Poha – 2 cups
  • Ajwain/ Omam – a pinch

Method:

1. Dry roast each ingredient separately.

2. Let it cool.

3. Grind the mixture.

Note: Sieve if you want a fine powder.

4. Store it in an air tight container for 3-4 months.

How to make Instant soya poha porridge?

1. Add 2 tbsp of soya poha porridge powder in a bowl.

2. Add hot water to it.

3. Mix well without lumps.

4. Serve warm.
