Soy Capsicum Biriyani

A quick and healthy one pot meal. The combo of soy with capsicum works great. Ingredients: Jeeraga Sambha Rice (Biriyani Rice) - 2 cups Curd- 1 cup Tomatoes - 4  Water - 1 cup Cinnamon, mace, bayleaf- 1 to 2 each. Ginger garlic paste - 3tbsp Onion- 1 thinly slliced Chilly powder- 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder- 3 tbsp Garam Masala- 2 tbsp Cumin Powder- 1/2 tsp Oil- 100 ml Capsicum- 4 (thinly sliced) Soy chunks 50 g Method: Heat a pan with just 1 tbsp oil and fry capsicum with salt.
It shou;d become crisp and have a smokey flavor.
Once this is done, set aside.
Meanwhile grind curd and tomatoes to a smooth paste. Set this aside too.
Heat remaining oil in a pressure cooker.
Add bay leaves and spices.
Add sliced onion and and fry till it turns brown.
Add chilly powder, coriender powder, salt, garam masala, cumin powder.
 
Add soy chunks, curd tomato paste and water.
Adjust salt now and add rice.
Pressure cook  for 2 whisltes and let the pressure come down.
Now open the pressure cooker and add the capsicum and stir well. Serve hot with onion raita.
