Southeast Asia Travel Tales with Enchanting Travels

By Enchantingtravels

Southeast Asia travel can be rewarding, exciting and inspiring, just as our guests discovered for themselves. For their silver jubilee marriage anniversary, Mr and Mrs Seith wanted to explore a remote, exotic land far away from home. On their Enchanting Travels trip in Cambodia and Vietnam, they discovered a whole new way to travel! This is their story.

“It took me a long time to get on board with the concept of an organized tour – we do not prefer packaged tours and don’t like to travel with groups. Typically, I like to plan our trips myself. But what we were offered and then experienced during this trip was sensational! I am glad that we decided to travel this way and can only say ‘thank you’ to Enchanting Travels.”

The journey took our guests past many an interesting marvel in Asia, which they described to us in detail. Here is an account of their Southeast Asia travel.

“It was truly a fully customized, private journey with great care right from the beginning till the end. Our Travel Consultant, Sebastian Erckel, never lost patience even when I made several changes to our itinerary.”

Mr and Mrs Seith’s first stop was the magical Khmer city of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.

Mr and Mrs Seith’s first stop was the magical Khmer city of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. They loved the company of their guide and had this to say: “Our tour guide Mr. Rith Nimol in Siem Reap was extremely informative, kind and never intrusive. He spoke fluent German as well. He really shared a lot of information and seemed to know everything!”

From here, our guests traveled to one of the most exciting metropolises in the world – Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi. Strolling through the busy streets of the city and exploring all kinds of shops and markets with their knowledgeable tour guide was not only interesting, but also an authentic, one of a kind experience. They especially enjoyed the street food tour, which gave them a deep insight into the food culture of the country.

Their tour guide shared a unique and interesting perspective on Hanoi. Our guests enjoyed their time with him, describing our guide as super friendly, funny and well-informed. Then, it was time to visit the imperial city of Hue, set on the banks of the charming Perfume River. Our guests spent their time witnessing the morning prayer ceremony at the Ba La Mat Pagoda – a deeply spiritual, moving experience.

“Since everything went so smoothly during our trip, we did not need to contact our Trip Coordinator at all.”

After spending time in Asia’s bustling metros and visiting stunning temples, our guests chose to spend some downtime at the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai in Hoi An. This is what they had to say about it: “Just one word – fantastic! It is one of the best hotels we have ever visited and we have visited quite a few great hotels in our lifetime!”

At the end of their tour, Mr and Mrs Seith returned home completely happy.

“Everything worked out great. The guides were caring without being intrusive, and very learned. We felt throughout our trip that the entire itinerary and the support was stellar.”
