Soundwich @ Parque Da Cidade, Porto

By Gail Aguiar @ImageLegacy

I had to get up early for a family shoot this morning in Parque da Cidade, and by the time we finished all I could think about was how well a meia de leite would taste. Fortunately, that craving could be indulged nearby, at Soundwich — a restaurant nestled into the greenery and stone buildings of the northeast section of the park. We stayed for lunch on the patio, which I have no photos of (next time!) but I got a mobile phone pic of the menu in Instagram. Remember albums? Nice to know Soundwich is keeping them alive.

Finally got to try Soundwich at Parque da Cidade. Will be back!

Enroute to Soundwich, we made a pit stop at the organic farmer’s market next door. After some digging around online, I found out that the market takes place every Saturday, rain or shine, from 10:00-14:00 (closing at 20:00 in the summer). Now you know where to stock up if your park picnic supply runs down!
