This Souffled Apple Pancake is a tasty, fluffy pancake that has apples that have been caramelized baked right into it. It makes a great treat for breakfast or brunch and is sure to impress!
Ingredients:
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Confectioners' sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a 10-inch skillet that can go in the oven
It will take about 5 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced apples until they start to get soft
Put the eggs, milk, flour, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender
Mix until it's smooth
Add the batter to the apples that are already cooked in the pan
Place the pan in an oven that has already been heated and bake the pancake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it is golden brown and puffed up
After taking it out of the oven, add the last tablespoon of butter to the top
Add confectioners' sugar to the top
Serve it right away, while it's still hot and puffy
