Sony Yuga
A Russian blog has published leaked images and information about a new, 5-inch screened power house.
If the leaked information is to be believed then this looks like the first 'real' contender that could give the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 a run for it's money. Packing a 1920 x 1080 touch screen with a PPI of 440 it is far ahead of the Galaxy Note 2.
On top of this, it's got a USB host and micro-HDMI ports, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, NFC and a Qualcomm modem offering LTE access. So it's 4G download speeds all round for us. This incredible mix of the latest technology puts this device streaks ahead of any other option of the 5-inch variety. This coupled with a 12 megapixel camera and a Micro SD card slot means that we have a device that offers a huge punch. A punch that could well take the Samsung Galaxy Note 2's market along with some of the 7-inch tablet market share as well. The one thing that the Sony Yuga's success will hinge on is it's price point. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is priced at around £475.00 (Amazon) so we can expect something similar for this device but, if it is lower than this we could be looking at one of 2013's top device's.
So, keep an eye on your rear view mirror because this could be a technological power-house that may blow everything else in it's category out of the water.
