Some of My Favorite Tools for Small Business

By Lindaluke @coachlindaluke

Everyone loves to find ways to make life easier and I am often asked what tools I use to support my business.  I prefer resources that are simple, easy to use, and cost effective.  Here are some of my favorites.

I use the free version of Asana to keep track of my projects and to do items.  It is easy to use and allows you to work with multiple projects and goals, schedule completion dates, receive notifications, and work with teams.  Click here to learn more.

Hootsuite is one of the most highly recommended social media dashboards.  It allows you to post, schedule, batch, comment, and more to most social media sites, all from one place.  It is easy to use, inexpensive, and offers a free trial.  Click here to learn more.

Canva allows even me, a kindergarten level graphics person, to create designs for print or the web.  It is a simple to use and full of possibilities.  There are even custom templates for common uses like banners, social media sites, etc. Click here to learn more.

Fiverr boggles my mind.  It feels like you can get almost anything for only $5.  Logos, banners,  book covers, marketing assistance – you name it.  I have seen examples of excellent work from people on this site. Look for providers that are rated well and check their turn around times before buying. Click here to learn more.

PicMonkey is my go to site for editing images quickly.  I use it all the time for things like cropping and re-sizing the images in this post. This site is free, fun to use, and makes editing pictures a fast and easy process.  You can also play with special effects and touch up your images to make them look their best.  Click here to learn more.

Mikogo is a browser based screen sharing program.  You don’t have to download anything to your computer.  I use it to share information or look at things with my clients while we are on the phone.  You can get it going in just a minute or two, so it even works when spontaneous questions come up.  Click here to learn more.
