'Some of Life's Hardest Questions' Challenge

By Kaidarul @KaiDarul

Sometimes, the hardest questions to answer are the simplest ones. We hear them day in and day out. But, if we actually sit, reflect and answer the question, we are dumbfounded. We are often caught in wandering thoughts. Sometimes, we can't answer them directly as they are asked to us. We needed time to let them sink into our thoughts and hearts. And only then that we can give our truest and purest answers.
So, here is my take on trying to answer some of these simple yet hard-to-answer questions. I can't tell you how long it took me to finish this post - from researching which questions to include to actually answering them based on my experiences and perspectives.
Moreover, I also want you to answer some of the questions. Please don't hesitate to choose two questions and answer them in the comment section. ^_^
Note: Everything below is my opinion. You are free to go against them.
What is love?
Love is time. The more time you spend with another person, the bigger your love for him or her is. There is nothing more precious in this world than time. As days passes, our time on earth diminishes. And that which we spend it for is indeed special to our hearts.
This is why we should be careful as for which we spend our time. It is so precious that we can never bring it back.
Shoutout to the people who spend their time with me. I really appreciate it especially when you make time just to contact me to only to ask how my day went.
How do you achieve peace?
This is a very complicated question. You can even ask this on a beauty pageant.
I think, we can all achieve peace if we work hand in hand. You cannot have peace when your neighbor is constantly shouting at his or her children, cursing and abusing them. You can't have peace when the traffic lights are busted and the city engineers don't bother fixing it. Most importantly, you can't have peace when your police officers are busy doing their own thing and forgets to maintain order in the community.
No matter how you want to achieve peace, you can't do it yourself. You have to know how to persuade others into creating a holistic and peaceful environment. You can start with yourself, but it should not end there.
Peace!
If you could change one thing in yourself, what would it be?
If I could change one thing in myself, it would be to change all of my negative attitude into positive ones. If only I could do it over night, I would be more understanding, persevering, patient, etc the next day. However, it is a constant battle. Everyday, I have to do something to combat all of the negative attitude I have for certain things.
And I really really want to be positive about everything. But, it is easier said than done.
What is your biggest regret in life?
I do have petty regrets like not buying a certain product when it was on sale. But, aside from that, I do not have bigger regrets for the fact that every choice and decision I made in my life added to make me who I am today.
To regret means that you have not fully accepted your flaws. To regret means you have not understood the essence of the mistake you made and its impact in your life. To regret means you are constantly buried in the past.
You can regret, but don't let it consume you. In every mistake you do, comprehend, reflect, and let go.
What makes you happy?
Knowing I have someone to lean on makes me happy. Knowing I have true friends makes me happy. Knowing I have enough makes me happy. Knowing that I can buy things I need, and sometimes, I want, makes me happy. Knowing that people come to read my blog makes me happy.
Simply knowing that I am living makes me happy.
What is something that made you change your perspective about life?

I used to look at disabilities as punishment. Now, my perspective about hardships and disabilities changed. I now perceive them as ways for me to be stronger and be better. I look at them as challenges and not as punishments. I constantly remind myself that whatever disabilities and hardships I have, I can make it through.
I am more challenged to take on anything right now.
Who you became today, is it the person you saw in your dreams 10 years back?
Honestly, 10 years ago, I didn't even have the right image of what I would be in the future. I was just a kid dreaming endlessly. One day, I dream of becoming a scientist, other days I dream of being a designer.
People would always tell me back then that I should take medicine. I could be one of the best doctors. However, as days passed, I learned that I do not have the passion for it. I was more into designing. Then again, there are hardships that I faced in life that led me to accountancy. Still, I am happy to have achieved and unlocked level CPA. :D
~oOo~
So, I am making this a tagged post to bug the hell out of my blogger friends. I am kind of mean like that. haha. Sorry, friends. I had to share the hard time I had while answering these questions. And I also wanted to know what you think about these things. I know you all have better answers than I do. ^_^
Here are the rules:
  1. Answer these questions and make a post on your blog with the same title.  (You have to reflect on each question. Be truthful about what you feel.)
  2. Tag five to seven people to answer the same questions.
I am tagging Joyce, Najmah, Mary, April, Trisha and Shugah.
Toodles,
K
