Nothing like a playoff game to bring out the celebs! Pictured: Bradie James & Jordan Speith, Jerry Jones with Governor Chris Christie, Bishop TD Jakes with friends, Pat Smith and Papa John's owner John Schnatter
It's been several years since the Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs (2009/10 to be exact) so it's no surprise that celebs and movers and shakers alike turned out in droves for last Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. Lions quarterback, Matthew Stafford, hails from Highland Park making it very difficult for some Parkies to know which team to root for. Former Cowboys player Bradie James, golf pro Jordan Speith, Big Rich Texas stars Bon Blossman and Cindy Davis, Chef John Tesar, Good Morning Texas co-host Amy Vanderoef, former Texas Govenor Rick Perry, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings and Bishop TD Jakes were among the famous faces spotted at AT&T Stadium. Even New Jersey Governor Chris Christie me the trip down South to hang out with pal Jerry Jones in the Owners Suite along with former Cowboys great Emmitt Smith and his wife, Pat Smith. Reality TV personality Alex Stein posted, "The last time the Cowboys played a playoff game here, it was in 2009 and I was still in College at LSU." Most Eligible Dallas star and former NFL player Glenn Pakulak posted, "Tough day for me! #styledecisions My two beloved cities meet today in the #NFLplayoffs for an #epicbattle. As much as I love everyone and everything about #Dallas #Detroit will always be where my heart is! #goDetroitLions beat the #DallasCowboys". To which I say "Boooooo Glenn!"
That wild and crazy Mark Cuban has tongues wagging and eye brows raising over his continued demolition of a stretch of land in Preston Hollow. According to Evans, "He’s cleared trees from the estates that line Northwest Highway and Preston Road, leaving little visual screening from the busy six-lane thoroughfare. Dallas City Council member Jennifer Staubach Gates says Cuban can do what he wants with his property, and that he hasn’t done anything to run afoul of city regulations. Still, he’s refused to meet with residents and doesn’t seem interested in the Preston Hollow Area Study. Of course, these are the same homeowners who arranged angry town halls over residential developments on two corners of Northwest Highway and Preston Road, so they may already be sharpening their pitchforks and lighting their torches." Candy Evans is hot on his tail and continues to bring us the latest on what Cuban
In case you don't speak the language of hashtags, she said that the working title of her new book is Monograms At Home. You all know I am crazy for a monogram. If it isn't moving, monogram it, I say! I can't wait to see what cool products Kimberly features in her new book due out August 2015.

The 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 12, in Dallas. As the first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship, which replaces the BCS National Championship Game, it will be the culmination of the 2014–15 bowl season. Not surprisingly, lottos sporty-types hit town to attend the Oregon Ducks vs Ohio State Buckeyes game. Chef Kent Rathbun showed HLN's Robin Meade and Brian McFayden how to cook sirloin chili (he even gave Robin some to pass along to Toby Keith). WFAA's Mike Castellucci chummed it up with Lady Antebellum at the CMT Ultimate Kickoff Party held on Friday night.
