Social Network Helps Puppies

By David13676 @dogspired

I was browsing and tweeting on the popular social networking site called twitter and I received a tweet about six black puppies abandoned on the side of the road. I sent a personal message to the person that tweeted the post and she was very helpful in getting me the information.

I immediately tried to get a hold of the lady and told friends and family.  It saddens me that this type of incident happens on a daily basis. The lady holding the puppies called every local rescue only to be turned down due to capacity.

After receiving dozens of responses on social networking sites like twitter, myspace and facebook I was able to forward the information to the lady that rescued the puppies. Luckily all the puppies found new homes! With the help of word of mouth marketing, e-mail forwarding and social networks, the pups that were once left unwanted have been sought after all over the internet.

If you want to help stray puppies like these, please check your local rescue or you can simply do a search on petfinder.
