So, I Know Someone.........and Their Child Was Pushed Dow...

So, I know someone.........and their child was pushed down a flight of steps day before yesterday. She received a phone call from the principle stating the child was o.k. but had been a bit of a scrap. Her child did not provoke the altercation, matter of fact he tried several times through out the day to avoid this child who continued to taunt him and instigate a fight. When her child least expected it the trouble maker caught him with his back turned to him at the top of the staircase and PUSHED HIM!! Once my friends son gathered his barings (the pusher was already wailing on him by this time at the bottom) he swung back in defense! Because he swung back it was automatic suspension. What is wrong with the school system?
This child is a trouble maker with a rap sheet already. Fact! Does he have to kill someone before he is removed?
This was initially supposed to be handled as a assault until the pusher stated the other boy started it.
The pusher stated he pushed the boy down the steps because he saw him throw a blueberry at lunch and hit him in the back of the head. Excuse me, but when did he gets eyes in the back of his head. Not only that, but the boy says he was not the blueberry thrower and does not know who was. He stated he was eating lunch, not watching for flying blueberry's. Good point.
Next, my friends son was allowed the attend Homecoming since it was a fact he did not provoke this act. Low and behold........he pusher was there as well. Taunting, with his herd of misfits. There was a a call made to a official who stated they forgot to fill out the pushers suspension papers so he had no grounds to remove him from the game. Hmmm.
I will leave off some other details to protect my friend and her son but I'm just curious. Pot, Pills, Bomb Threats, pushing a child down a flight of steps.......what does it take to remove a child from a public school. Does someone have to be seriously injured first?
Also, I spoke too soon. My Lifeskills position fell through. Conflict of Interest I'm told because my Eli was services there. That's what I get for bragging.
