Finish artist Timo Jokela has created a series of art installations made from snow which could quite easily be mistaken for the work of aliens. The installations are interesting and different and would surely bamboozle any tourists going to Lapland, Finland.
Timo says: “Through my Winter Art works, I have aspired to connect with the villagers of the North and with their traditions. I hope that my art works help inhabitants of the area to recognize the inherent values in their own lives and in the environment and that the works contribute to constructing their Northern identity.”
