Smurfette

It is official. I have joined the legions of beanie-wearers. I don't normally wear hats, because they flatten out your hair (anyone have any tips for remedying hat hair with curls?), but these are just too cute to pass up! They're perfect for the cold, dreary weather we're having right now. And with so many styles, colors, and materials, they're the perfect winter accessory! Even if they make you look like a smurf.

I was so excited to run home from work before it got dark the day I wore this because I love this outfit (hello, colored pants, chambray, and a denim jacket? sign me up), but it was so cold that I couldn't bear being outside any longer than absolutely necessary. Winter has to end sometime, right? Because I've had it with the cold and dreariness and the general blah. It's time for spring! (and I'm jealous of all you bloggers living further south or on the west coast, where spring-y outfits are possible!)
