Smicha in Gaza

Just under a month ago, Rav Avraham Zarbiv, a dayan on the beis din of Tel Aviv, set up a new institution in Gaza - the beis din of Gaza. Rabbi Zarbiv is on hiatus and is currently a combat soldier fighting in Gaza.

Today Rabbi Zarbiv, reportedly, granted the first smicha ordination to a local student, Yoreh Yoreh, as he shot dead a terrorist in Khan Younis...

for those who might not get it, Yoreh Yoreh is a play on words as that is the title of smicha but yoreh also means to shoot...
