New York Fashion Week back in February introduced quite a few major trends for the upcoming Fall 2012 season. We will cover each and everyone more thorough in the next upcoming week, but here is to part one few thing to give your fall shopping "must have" list a start.
BROCADE DETAILING
is everywhere and on everything. From shoes to dresses.
CHIC COLLARS
as add ons will give any sweater a major make-over :
And speaking of SWEATERS,
make sure you have a few. This FALL it's all about them, the more the better. In white, print or large knit , they are all in to keep you warm and fashionably chic.
PRINT is huge and PRINT MIXING is even bigger.
Got some polka dots? Mix it up with photography-like ( VERY hot trend) print. Clothes with print is a wearable art. I could not be happier about this one.
LEG WEAR.
Socks, stockings, tights - lovers unite! This is THE year to show off your legs however much or little you like. Want a modest take? Add some ruffle socks in killer color ( ox-blood would fit in just fine). Want to revisit 90s , but modernized? take some red-hot-trendy over the knee socks and combine with pointy toe boots. Love polka dots or stripes , but on a budget? Tights galore! Imagination is the limit.
Here is to a little peak into what's upcoming this FALL.
From what I saw so far ( which has been only a fraction, really, if considering all sides of beautiful world of fashion) , this is my most favorite season yet , minus a couple shoes here and there over the years.
