Canadian alternative rock icons from the 90's, Sloan, made a stop in London on May 10th on their,"One Chord to Another", tour. The tour is promoting their recently released box set that includes all the hits of that past 25 years. London Music Hall played host to this awesome night of music and those in the club got what they came for - Sloan, and lots of it.

Sloan jumped right into the hits, opening the show with, "The Good in Everyone", and from that moment on, it was hit after hit. The night was divided up into two sets. The first set lasted for about an hour, and then the band took a well deserved break. They came back and kicked off the second set with, "Penpals". The show rolled on and the place went bonkers when the classic siren sound came along with that gritty guitar sound of, "Money City Maniacs".

Sloan is known for their collective writing and the band members all chipped in to sing lead on different tracks. I also never realized that the band often switches up seats on stage. The talent in this band is unmatched to many others out there touring right now. It's easy to see why these guys have earned multiple Juno nominations over the years and have a collection of awards for their past 11 studio albums.

The band seemed as good as ever. After playing together for 25 years, it seems like these guys could keep rocking for another 25. The music they play is timeless and it sounds like they could be working on some new material with hints I picked up throughout the show. The guys are playing countless shows on this tour, cris-crossing Canada and playing everything from pubs, church basements, high school auditoriums, and concert clubs like London Music Hall.

After a good hour the band departed the stage, but not before coming back to give the crowd a couple more songs. The encore included, "People in the Sky", and, "Underwhelmed ".
