If you're a makeup/skincare/beauty addict yes, I feel like it is worth the pennies. But if you're not too fussed on your beauty and will quite happily be satisfied with a £6 moisturiser (hey, I sometimes am too!) then I would give this one a miss. BUT, I'm still singing it's praises because it is stunning. If you're a long-term reader of Thumbelina Lillie, you may remember my Charlotte Tilbury Weekly Series, when I first met with her products. I wrote a little mini review of my little mini tester pot of this wonder and loved it. Yet now that I have that full, big, golden tub (Thanks, Carli!), I can give you the complete full low-down.
So Charlotte's Magic Cream retails at £70. Shit. I get it, I know, dat's expensive! But, it is hands-down, hand-on-heart, cross my eyes, hope to die one of the best, if not the best moisturiser I have ever tried. Period. Something that I learned about Charlotte when I met her, is that she is very intelligent and knows a lot about skincare and pharmaceuticals - she knows exactly what is going into each and every product and the benefits that ingredient can bring. The tiniest pea-sized amount of this product worked into the skin leaves your face feeling plump, nourished, supple and overall, healthy. It also has an SPF of 15, which is always a bonus! Let's see what's in it, and why it works.
- BioNympth Peptide Complex - Fights the aging process, stimulating collagen and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
- Sodium Hyaluronate - A hyaluronic acid whichs drowns the skin in moistuire for that plump feeling.
- Rosehip, Camellia & Vitamin E - Transforms the skins pigmentation and improves skin's firmness.
- Damask Rose Water & Aloe Vera - For regenerating those pesky old skin cells.
- Frangipani Extract - For that extra boost of, well, everything!
A complete and utter genius' mix of ingredients that do just everything you want to your skin. If you treat yourself to anything on payday, or need something to add to your Birthday/Christmas list that you wouldn't neccessarily buy yourself... Psst... GET THIS! Have you tried Charlotte's Magic Cream yet? If not, do you want to?
