SJB Organiser’s Finger Prints Under Probe Over Murder

Preliminary investigations into the murder of the young woman at the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) office in Kegalle are likely to reveal  that she has been allegedly shot by the SJB organizer of Kegalle Lakshman Dissanayake.

The young woman was found dead on a bed inside Dissanayake’s office recently. However, a senior police officer told Daily News that the investigators are yet to receive the report on the finger prints on the revolver that was used to commit the murder.

She had been killed using a 38 mm revolver, which is a foreign made one. Police said that they have written to the authorities to identify the owner of this firearm as well. An argument between the two parties had led to this murder, police suspect.
