How long could some action return to haunt ? Back in 2016, Jerry Seinfeld decided to sell part of his Porsche collection at Gooding & Company's Amelia Island auction. One of the cars he sold was an incredibly rare 1958 356 A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster. Or at least that's what it was stated to be and believed to be so by the buyer .. .. that has led to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court, the car purchased for $1,540,000 may have been a fake.   Dr.-Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, usually shortened to Porsche AGis a German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans. Porsche AG is headquartered in Stuttgart. Porsche, the famous automobile manufacturer reportedly will bake three years of unlimited battery charging into the price of its first-ever electric vehicle. The German automaker is quoted as saying thatit will provide Porsche Taycan owners with fast-charge services through a partnership with Electrify America when the electric sedan launches later this year. Porsche dealers will also install charging stations for customers to use.Access to the charging network will help ease range anxiety, according to Klaus Zellmer, president and CEO for Porsche Cars North America. The 600-horsepower, four-door sedan will be able to travel around 310 miles on a fully charged battery and add 62 miles of range in four minutes. The Taycan’s 800-volt battery can absorb rates up to 350 kilowatts, allowing for faster charging. That’s quicker than any other vehicle on the market and an arrow in Porsche’s quiver against its main rival, Tesla, whose batteries absorb 120 kilowatts. Tesla’s Model S just beats the Taycan on maximum range with 335 miles in its largest capacity.Porsche has not announced pricing information for the Taycan but has said it will be priced below its Panamera sedan, which starts at $86,300. Jerome Allen Seinfeld is an American stand-up comedian, known for playing himself in the sitcom Seinfeld, which he created and wrote with Larry David. As a stand-up comedian, Seinfeld specializes in observational comedy. Seinfeld produced, co-wrote and starred in the 2007 film Bee Movie. In 2010, he premiered a reality series called The Marriage Ref, which aired for two seasons on NBC. He is the creator and host of the web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Now he is in news for wrong reasons ! facing lawsuit over selling Porsche alleged to be fake ! It all dates back to the activity when Comedian's '58 Speedster traded hands for US$1.5 million two years ago.US media now reports that Jerry Seinfeld was sued Friday by a company claiming it bought a 1958 Porsche from the comedian for US$1.5 million only to discover it was a fake.  Fica Frio Limited’s lawsuit was filed in Manhattan federal court against a comic known for his love of vintage cars. The lawsuit said Fica Frio’s representatives paid US$1.54 million for the Auratium Green 1958 Porsche 356 A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster at an Amelia Island, Florida auction of several of Seinfeld’s cars in March 2016. The price included the 10-percent auction house commission. The lawsuit, seeking unspecified damages including the costs associated with the purchase, said they learned the car was “inauthentic.” Fica Frio is based in the Channel Islands. The auction summary of the Porsche boasted that it was “from the Jerry Seinfeld collection” and said it was a “stunning example of a rare thoroughbred Porsche.”The car was described as “one of approximately 56 GS/GT Carrera Speedsters built with alloy panels” and “believed to be sole example originally finished in Auratium Green.” Its “extremely rare type 692/0 four-cam engine” had received an “award-winning restoration completed by European Collectibles.” According to the lawsuit, Seinfeld left a voicemail last June apologizing and promising a full refund. But it said the refund never came.Seinfeld’s lawyer, Orin Snyder, said the comedian acted in good faith.“He has asked Fica Frio for evidence to substantiate the allegations. Fica Frio ignored Jerry and instead filed this frivolous lawsuit,” Snyder said in a statement.Still, Snyder said, Seinfeld “is willing to do what’s right and fair, and we are confident the court will support the need for an outside evaluator to examine the provenance of the car.” Seinfeld mixes his affection for vehicles with his love of comedy in his series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
