Sin La Habana is a romantic drama that follows a man trying to follow his dreams only to find himself caught in a love triangle. He wants to bring his girlfriend to Canada but to do so he must find a way to be seen as part of the society there, meaning he starts trying to date a Canadian.

This is a movie that gets to focus on the bigger situation of citizenship and the struggle to achieve it. Where it can leave couples apart and people pushed into bigger decisions.
