Verdict on Silent Night

Silent Night is an action thriller following an everyday man who goes on a revenge path. His son is killed in a gangland shooting, breaking him and forcing him to want revenge. However, he must train himself to become an elite fighter and dedicate his life to taking out the gangs in one swift movement.

This is an action movie which uses the typical John Woo ideas of a father seeking revenge for the death of a child. He is one of the best directors for making this have such a big impact. This manages to produce a film without much dialog with the early injury Brian suffers. It adds a lot of effect to the movie as we see the battle coming through his determination and training. For an action movie, it delivers action, fighting, shooting and everything you come to expect.
