This Seahawk departs after a day of display at the 2022 Aerospace Valley Air Show held at Edwards AFB.  The Seahawk is the navalized version of the UH-60 Blackhawk, operated by the US Navy. The MH-60 variant first flew in 2000 and is a hybrid design with features from the UH-60 and SH-60 platforms. The Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 31 (VX-31) “Dust Devils,” based at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, was the first to replace its Hueys with the Seahawk for the Search & Rescue (SAR) role.  The Dust Devils were the first to have the striking white-and-orange SAR paint scheme applied to a Seahawk.
