A Pave Hawk from the 129th Rescue Squadron participates in a combat search-and-rescue demonstration during the California Capital Airshow.  First flown in 1982, the Pave Hawk is a highly modified version of the UH-60 Black Hawk with less than 100 in service. It is equipped with the advanced PAVE (Precision Avionics Vectoring Equipment) navigation and communications package, which allows the helicopter to performs its duties under a variety of daylight and weather conditions.  A replacement helicopter with greater payload and cabin capacity, wider rotor blades, and better hover capability, the UH-60M-derived HH-60W, first flew in May 2019.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
