Who doesn’t love discounts? And who doesn’t love getting a chance to buy a top end gadget at half its price?
I recently came to know about a website that makes available mobiles, laptops and desktops and other appliances at heavily discounted prices. This website is GreenDust. As per the information given on the website, “GreenDust is India’s premier online shopping site that offers customers and bulk buyers the option to purchase unused, branded factory seconds, surplus, overstock and refurbished products at the lowest prices guaranteed.”
The heavy discounts on GreenDust are made possible because the products being sold are factory seconds, factory surplus or refurbished. That also means that not all products are always available on GreenDust. If you are looking for a particular model of a smartphone, for example, it may not be available on it today but might be available the next day. The discounts may vary too. But if you are really keen on buying something and keep on looking over a period of several days, you might stumble upon some fabulous discounts. For example, just as I opened it up today, I saw being advertised Samsung Galaxy S4 for just Rs. 16,820! The market price of this phone is about 40 thousand.
Of course, the more latest products will have lesser discounts and the older products have more discounts as they are less in demand.
