Sick Kid and No Time to Exercise…

Posted on the 19 January 2016 by Dave Nevue

My three-year-old is sick again, poor little fellow. With both kids at home I find it very hard to get any exercise done. During days like these I have a great work out routine I do in order to stay in shape and to avoid feeling guilty for not exercising (guilt! Such a bad thing!).

With almost no time to spare you can always find the time to do some push-ups -only if you are fully recovered after pregnancy! By doing push-ups, you exercise your arms, chest, shoulders and your abdominals. You are toning your upper body while you are challenging your core muscles in the same way as if you were planking. Nowadays I always do them on my toes but for many years I kept doing them on my knees since I didn't think I was strong enough. Thats's definitely one of my best tips, challenge yourself and start doing them on your toes. You can do it! You'll feel more confident and strong!

A REMINDER: DON'T DO push-ups if you haven't recovered your strenght and health after pregnancy! Your post-pregnancy belly needs healing and rehabilitation before doing challenging exercise like push-ups.
