My Amsterdam Fashion Week was short but sweet. Definitely short, since I only did 2 days. Somehow I was exhausted over the weekend so I decided to take some well-needed rest, and I just had 2 great days of AFW so I could live with it. My highlights of my short AFW experience? Obviously the Collectie Arnhem show (read the post about it here). but also a great hotel, getting my hair done and traveling in luxury.
The first 4 pictures are from the hotel I stayed at: Hotel The Exchange. It’s a really cool design hotel with rooms ranging from 1 to 5 stars, and every room is designed by a different student from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. Every room is different and my room, The Room of Misunderstood Creatures had really cool furniture and a bit of a dark side to it, contrasted by the sequins on the wall and in the floor. I love staying in interesting places and this hotel certainly is a really creative and cool place to stay at. I wish I could have seen all of the 61 rooms!
The second 3 pictures are from getting my hair done at Toni & Guy who did a great job at making me pretty on Thursday!
And the last two instasnaps are from another big highlight: taking taxiservice Uber to literally every place I needed to be that day. Boy, I don’t know if I can (at least I don’t want to) travel by tram anymore. The super luxurious cars Uber uses and the easy service via the app was great, I felt a bit like a celebrity!
So that was my short but sweet Amsterdam Fashion Week. Right now: packing for Copenhagen Fashion Week. Absolutely can’t wait!
