Shoes and Yoga: 2012 in Review

By Caveatcalcei @gabfran

It was interesting to get an email from WordPress.com this morning inviting me to see visit the highlights of my blog for this year.

A long time ago a very wise woman advised me on blogging.  Enjoy yourself, she said, and do not become obsessed with the stats!

Two things ring a blogger’s happy bells – comments and regular readers.  I am lucky to have some really loyal ones who have stuck by me even when I have thought about walking away. When I meander back, they find me, dust me down and make me get back on the horse again.  I suspect that you, my most loyal readers, will be the only ones to click the link below.  Then you will know who you are, as if you did not already.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 98,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 5 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
