Two Cents - Shantaia (Official Lyric Video)
Even though the lyric video for Two Cents is a behind-the-scenes look at a Shantaia photoshoot, we asked her for some behind-the-scenes details on top of that. Here's what she told us...
"This video shoot came to be a little different than most. The videography team that I wanted to work with (Strike Films) are currently living in Ecuador and couldn't come back with the Covid-19 pandemic. So all the clips were shot on my iPhone, using a handy stabilizer by my boyfriend, who has no prior experience in shooting music videos! We sent all the clips over to Jody and Mackenzie (Strike Films) and they took it from there through the editing process! It's just so cool that we can shoot a high quality music video on an iPhone. It blows my mind! I purposely wanted to have strong, talented and incredible women in the video- Nicole Romanoff is a highly successful photographer, my good friend Tiara Desmarais is a successful personal trainer and fitness entrepreneur, and my Mom, who has been my rock my entire life. I really wanted to channel a 'women empowering women' vibe in the video, and we all had so much fun doing just that!"
Shantaia also shared a photo and short slip from shoot day. Check 'em out!
Keep your eye on Shantaia. Some exciting things are sure to come as she heads down to Nashville to take the next steps in her exciting country music career.
