But when a stunning woman he nearly hooked up with in Reno turns out to be a firefighter from his new station, Roman realizes it’s going to be tough keeping the tabloids at bay.
But there’s even more Sabina isn’t telling him. Before dedicating her life to battling blazes, Sabina led a very different life, one that made her famous. The last thing she wants is to have her secret exposed. The papers, bloggers, and TV gossips will have a field day with that—especially when they sense the obvious sexual heat between Sabina and Chief Roman, who’s torn between firing her…and falling in love with her!
The third smoking hot Fireman romance novel featuring the Bachelor (and Bachelorette!) Firemen from our brilliant new author, Jennifer Bernard.
My Thoughts:
Sabina Jones is a great heroine. She is strong, she has to be to stand up against her mother and her old manager. She is smart, and has a heart. She also really wants to make a difference, which is why she completely changed her life and became a firefighter, and also a big sister. She has loyal friends who care about her, a job she enjoys and a great life. The only thing she was missing was a family, her own is so very dysfunctional she does everything she can to avoid them. While her friends are great and there for her they really are just friends. Her first meeting with Rick was one huge catastrophe after another. During her annual Vegas Thanksgiving trip she sees the hot guy and then attempt to seduce him for a hot night out. But her conscious just wont let her do it and she walks away. Only to have Rick enter her life a few days latter as a new boss. The sparks flying between the two of them is often quite funny and always entertaining. Rick has moved himself and his young son Luke to San Gabriel, CA so the boy can play baseball year round. They moved away from a very close nit family who helped Rick and Luke through the death of their wife and mother. So both Rick and Sabina have family troubles, just in different ways. Actually in so many ways they are so alike that they just keep rubbing each other wrong. This is a fun story seeing these two bicker and fight to helping and supporting one another to falling in love.
