According to police, a joint FC and police post was targeted in Tal Tehseel of Hangu near FC Qilla. As a result of the blast the check-post was completely destroyed.
The dead and injured were shifted to the nearby hospitals.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have claimed the responsibility of the attack.
