After the massive surprise opening of The Best Man Holiday, Universal is asking director Malcolm Lee to make another. The sequel has a very rare (and very coveted) A+ Cinemascore, which means the legs on the film should be quite long. The film opened to more than 30 million over the weekend off a small 17M budget.

Focus Features has set Insidious Chapter 3 for April 3rd, 2015. The script will be penned by series writer Leigh Whannell, but no director has been announced yet. James Wan (the director of the first two) is currently busy with Fast and Furious 7.
