About the Author Wendy has been writing since her early childhood.  Her first published piece was a children’s short story titled, Jet’s Stormy Adventure. It was serialized in The Illinois Horse Network. She attended the University of Iowa,  honing her craft in their famed summer workshops and writing programs.
