Self-Perception

{Shirt: Maison Jules | Jeans: Martin & Ossa (similar) | Booties: Sam Edelman | Scarf: ModCloth (similar) | Watch: Fossil | Lipgloss: Julep (similar)}  Sometimes, I really like an outfit when I put it on and look in the mirror. But when I look at myself in pictures, I don't like it all. Which is really worrisome because if I don't like how it looks on me, do other people? Granted, I'm sure I'm a far harsher critic of myself than most of the general public, but there's still that moment of insecurity (amiright?).
Case in point, this outfit. Loved in the mirror, maybe not so much on (hellooooo, muffin-top). But, since I can't control my body shape (well I can, within reason, of course), I'm not going to worry about it too much. Sometimes belts ruin the silhouette of an outfit. But if it's that or my pants falling off in the middle of my morning commute, I'll take a ruined silhouette.
