SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE By Chrissie Abbott

‘See You On The Other Side’ is an exhibition of both projected moving and print collages, based around memories and dream sequences, mixing together the past and the future. Abbott is fascinated by the magic in the everyday and the incomprehensible wonders produced by nature and science such as rainbows and galaxies.
Chrissie Abbott is an illustrator and graphic designer from London. She studied at the London College of Communication before starting work in the industry as a designer for creative agency Zip, a specialist agency for design and art direction for the music industry.
Since then Chrissie has worked freelance as a designer, art director and artist. She is inspired by posters and album covers of the 60s and 70s and utilises typography, found images and hand-drawn illustration in her work.
She also works across a spectrum of fields including fashion, print, digital, advertising and motion graphics. Recent clients range from Sony BMG, Universal, Mute records, The New York Times, NYLON, Vans & ASOS.
