Second Theatrical Trailer of ‘Brave’

Brave earlier titled The Bear and the Bow is an upcoming 3D animated film. This is Pixar’s Animation Studios first fairy tale and their thirteenth animated film. The film is written by Brenda Chapman and Irene Mecchi and directed by both Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman. The project is produced by Katherine Sarafian and the composer of the film is Patrick Doyle. The film features the voices of Kelly Macdonald, Julie Walters, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Kevin Mckidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane. The film will be released by Walt Disney Pictures and takes aim at theatres on June 22nd, 2012.

Synopsis of the film:

The film is about the female protagonist Merida (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voiced by Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voiced by Emma Thompson), who determines to carve her own path in life. She defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: Massive Lord MacGuffin (voiced by Kevin Mckidd), Surly Lord Maclntosh (voiced by Craig Ferguson) and Cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voiced by Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s action unleashes chaos in the kingdom and after consulting a wise old woman (voiced by Julie Walters) for help; she is granted an ill-fated wish and is forced to undo the spell before it is too late.
