After releaseing their Secret EP last year with no promotion at all (hence the “secret” title), their first release in over a decade, Sebadoh have been back at it, writing and recording songs for their forthcoming album, Defend Yourself (out September 17th via Joyful Noise). The track sounds very much like Sebadoh, despite the decade and a half difference from their last full length release. Lou Barlow sings “failure is a state of mine” which shows his anxieties and self-doubting are still as present as ever.
