Over the past few days, there has been a lot of confusion about whether Sinqua Walls is returning toOnce Upon a Time as Sir Lancelot. First he told Hollywood Life that he is, then an ABC rep countered that there are “no plans” for that. So, what’s the deal? We turned to the actor himself to get his thoughts on a potential revival — and from the sounds of it, he’s convinced it will happen.
Considering that Prince Philip came back from the dead after having his soul sucked out, anything can happen on Once Upon a Time. The Enchanted Forest’s magic knows no bounds, so perhaps Mulan, Aurora, Phillip, and the looks-to-be-alive Neal will stumble upon Lancelot next season. Sinqua noted to us that Cora is the one who said he was dead, and she isn’t exactly known for being a beacon of truth.
“There’s definitely a chance,” Sinqua said of Lancelot coming back from the dead. “Why does everyone believe everything that Cora says? When did she become the authority for truth? So considering that, Sir Lancelot will be back for a little bit more playtime. And knowing what I know, Sir Lancelot will be back.”
Above all else, Sinqua loved playing Lancelot, so he’ll find time in his busy Teen Wolf schedule to come back. “He’s one of my favorite characters to date because it’s so beyond everything else I’ve done … Sir Lancelot was different than anything I’ve played before,” he dished. “He was a knight, he was chivalrous, and he was challenging. It was a lot of fun for me to dive into that role.”
