Once Upon a Time is filled with interesting twists and turns, leading to shocking reveals that we never could have seen coming. Unfortunately, this rings true for the reveal of Peter Pan’s identity, too.
In the final episodes of Season 2, we caught a glimpse of Captain Hook’s relationship with Baelfire, who narrowly escaped an eternity in Neverland with evil Peter Pan (or his shadow) and his “Lost Ones.” He was saved by Hook and started a new life on the Jolly Roger, but eventually, Peter’s Lost Boys came after him.
Based on Bae’s capture by one particular Lost One, the leader of the pack, we had a feeling that this guy may be Peter Pan, but co-creator Adam Horowitz quickly debunked this rumor. A few weeks ago, he spilled that “we haven’t seen him yet,” and then today (May 31), he told a fan, “We haven’t met Pan yet.”
Adam is notoriously vague and strays away from big spoilers, but this time, he was straightforward. Though we’re glad that someone we already know won’t randomly betray us, now we’re even more curious. Who is Peter Pan, and when will we meet him? Guess we’ll have to wait until next season to find out!
