Hollywood has lost a legend.

Oscar-winning Scottish actor Sean connery, the first of seven actors to play James Bond in a movie, has died at age 90.

He died in the Bahamas, where he had spent his last years. A statement released on Saturday, Oct.31 to E! News on behalf of his family said his wife Micheline and his two sons, Jason and Stephane, confirmed that he died peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family.
