Seabourn Ships Nab Hublot Sponsorship

Hublot, the Swiss watchmaker known for its luxurious timepieces, has recently been named as Official Timekeeper for the Seabourn cruise line. Seabourn’s 6 ultra-luxury cruise ships are intimate, all suite cruise ships that all smaller than most cruise ships. These ships have the capabilities to visit smaller ports of call, providing passengers with some unique travel opportunities.

The agreement means that passengers aboard Seabourn cruises will have their on-ship time kept by distinctive clocks provided by Hublot. Hublot has an “Art of Fusion” company philosophy that carries itself through the production of fine Hublot time pieces as well as the marketing of them. The theme is to connect the history of fine Swiss watchmaking with the future. Hublot has recent sponsorships with other high-end, high visibility international organizations such as the FIFA World Cup, Formula One Racing, Ferrari and Manchester United.

Hublot and Sebourn both are held in high regard by their customers as well as their competitors. For its part, Seabourn has been given a 6 star diamond rating from the American Academy of Hospitality Science. Hublot continues to build on its reputation with innovative products using some revolutionary materials, engaging high visibility celebrities, and introducing some limited edition products.

For South Florida, Hublot is getting a boost in visibility as it debuts its King Power “305” Timepiece. The bold clear faced watch contains white and blue to represents Miami’s beaches and water. It also has a blue Hornback alligator strap. Made of 18 carat gold and 5% platinum, the watch is being produced in a limited edition of 50. The watch is named “305″ for Miami’s area code, which is engraved into the watch. It debuts at a South Beach party September 26th.
