Judges at work

The winner goes forward to the represent the UK at The World Barista Championships in Seattle!

We also checked out Illy coffee, smooth Arabica beans and have some products to review.

The LA Group Liquid Academy featured delicious soup by Tom Lewis of Monachyle Mhor Hotel paired with Glengoyne Whisky.

Made me think of having Whisky with food and not just a stand alone drink,  pair it with dishes and let the flavours work together.

Lots of competition of a chef variety with Young Scottish Chef of the year as well as various food challenges.

Chef Jak O’Donnell helps judge

Gleneagles Head Chef, Alan Gibb

Adam Handling from Caxton Grill won Scottish Chef of the Year – well done!
